      I feel so owned

      xD Darn.

So this night I tried WBTB, and WILD. I fell asleep to soon for the WILD to succeed, but I did remember the dream I had after. I was reading song lyrics on internet, and I was all like.. "WOW! These lyrics all relate to Lucid Dreaming!" (Of lyrics of existant songs). Then I made THE conclusion. Lucid Dreaming is the key to 'succes in life'. <-- this was in the dream.

The STUPID thing is though, reading and thinking about LD, even in my dream, didn't get me lucid.

      .....

      !@#!@#$ WE

This is the second time such thing didn't trigger me to become lucid

Reading in a dream is impressive in and of itself, but to do so on the dream-internet makes it even more so. As for the frustration, I feel ya. There are a good number of times when I should have become lucid but I just haven't conditioned my mind to think like that long enough.

And for the lucid dreaming being key to success in life...god I hope so...

I know how you feel. I have at least 2 or 3 times during the week that I dream something about lucid dreaming and then wake up frustrated.

don't worry, I got owned worse last night. I was lucid for about 5 or 10 seconds, then my vision stated to go, I think "shit, I'm waking up, better spin now". So I do, but at some point I lose the dream-body spinning feeling, and It's now my physical body spinning. Problem was, I actually thought it was my physical body.

      FA pwned me

and yes, this sort of thing has happened to me, a while ago I had a dream in which I was talking to my grandmother about lucid dreaming.

Two nights ago In my dream I said " Well you know, You can do anything in a dream. "

I was not happy when I woke up
It's only in your dreams that you can dodge Hitler's bullets and then go upstairs to Bonk your friends girlfriend.

There were these two fellars standin' on a bridge, a-goin' to the bathroom. One fellar said, "The water's cold" and the other fellar said, "The water's deep". I believe one fella come from Arkansas. Get it?

That is in fact a popular myth. Indeed most of the time the dream is unstable, but if you believe you can read, you can. If you believe you can't, you won't be able.
I can read in dreams, no prob. Sometimes it's blurry, that is true. But it is perfectly possible to read and write in dreams!

indubitably so. You won't believe how many times I was halfway through writing down my dream in my DJ only to wake up once more

As for the rest of your experiences, they are GOOD, you guys are all having LD-themed nonlucids, which is an inch and a half from actual LD-ing, you are on the right track!
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus

That's too bad. That rarely happens to me.
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

Yeah, I usually end up reading in my dreams. I have no idea how this is even possible. It's not even stuff I've read before. On top of that, clocks (digital and analog) stubbornly insist on making sense.

it happens the same way it does whenever in real life you sit around and daydream things youve never done before..or daydream about visiting a place youve never been to...the brain is more powerful than people think.

Yes, I know how you feel. I've talked with people in my dreams about a dream I had just had, not knowing that I was still dreaming! I've also had several times when I had thought about lucid dreaming during a dream.
