      dream journal worries

I really love the dream journal available on this site. It is really nice. My only worry is that in the far future when I want to look back on all of my dreams, I won't be able to use the software on those computers. Is there any way that I can quickly get all of the journal entries to another source such as word or is this really nothing to worry about?

I'd say it's nothing to worry about. If you want them into Word, you'll have to either download the topic or copy/paste each entry into a Word document, but I don't think future computers will have a problem running Dream Journal 2.3. Just keep your .dj file if/when you switch computers!

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.

If you really want, just keep a word document handy (or Open Office works too...has password protection, to boot). Load it up whenever you go to log a dream. Use ctrl + C and ctrl + v as your copy and paste functions to snag them from the DJ and stick them in word, or visa-versa. I don't see any major issues with computers having any problem running the DJ program, though...it's a .exe file, so it should run on any windows computer, and Mac/Linux if you're savvy.
