Although, in my younger years (10-11) i was just coming into realization of my previouse faith (Christianity) and finding out about what it was and it's prophecies. After many reads of the bible and (i was a child, sue me) reading the tabloids and going to church, i formed a crippling fear that judgment day was very much at hand. I spent a year watching the skies, trembling at every red moon, and hiding from an eclipse. Finally it accumulated into one night where i fell asleep fearing that i would wake up in the presence of the almighty jesus (pfhh). That night i had a dream that indeed the day of judgment was at hand. I spent 3 days in that dream. I was told by god that i was to make an account of what i witnessed. Then i was lead around the world by Gabriel and shown the seals being broken and witnessed the faithful being called up to heaven. I watched as people i knew and didn't know were tortured by satan and his legion.I saw famine, mass genocide, torture, rape, of women men and children of all ages/race/origin. I would be allowed to rest each night and then Gabriel would wake me up and announce the things i was to see that day and accompany me to them. Needless to say, i woke up screaming my head off, thankful it was a dream. It was the most vivd, realistic non-lucid dream i've ever had. I dropped that religion a couple years later.....

I'm sorry but that was one of the events that turned me away from that religion. It felt like i had been coerced into truly fearing that god, and i didn't like living like that, so throughout the years after some serious research and inner searching i found myself at a place of new beliefs. Again sorry for the off-topicness, on that note: I wonder if spending too much time in a dream could cause you to question which is real...

No need to say anything regarding religion... Doesn't matter if dreams caused anyone to not believe.

I've been doing a bit of googling and I've found a few other people that have experienced these things. Both of them have said that they have had dreams that seem to last anywhere from several weeks to a year but nothing as long as 105 years.
