Ever Dream about having a LD?

I did last night in fact, i wasn't even Lucid. I was dreaming what it would be like if I was LDing ( flying around my city, flipping cars with jedi-like powers and so on) then I have a false awakening where I believed it. But the strange thing is, the false awakening was way different then the house I did go to bed in that night. When I finally awoke it just felt like a long story type, normal dream.
I feel like a retard for not realizing it was a dream and actually becoming Lucid. Has this ever happened to you guys?

Often, highly frustrating when I haven't had a LD for ages as well.

Okay, well at least now I know I'm not the only one. haha.
So i wonder if this kind of dream is considered lucid, but we hardly have any control.
Not sure how to classify these.

I think my first "Lucid" was just that. It felt like I was dreaming (Which I was I guess) but it didn't feel genuine for some reason.

I've had like 3 non-lucid dreams that are about LD's, in one I was doing Reality Checks and all of them proved to me that I was dreaming then with my hands I forcedly opened my eyes, and woke up, and in real life I had Sleep Paralysis (or atleast pre-SP, only had vibrations and I stopped it by moving a finger - stupid me, it scared me because it came out of nowhere)

And, unfortunately, haven't had any LD yet :S

@Lucid_Fanatic: You like Showbiz? That's cool, Muse is my favorite band.

I dreamed I WILD'd the other night, only instead of getting lucid I woke up. So you could call it an anti-WILD in a way.

I love these. Some of my best dreams have been non-lucids where I thought I was lucid.

If you dream of being lucid, dosen't that mean that you are lucid?

      Nope.

You are only lucid if you consciously and explicitly realize you are dreaming. It's possible to dream about being lucid without ever recognizing it's a dream.

yes, happened to me yesterday, I consider it a sign of progress..
they are not lucid dreams, because you don't know you are dreaming, you just act like so.
they are generally more vivid and easily memorable than non-lucid dreams.
but no, again, they are not lucid dreams.

A couple of nights ago, I dreamed that I had fallen asleep on the sofa...
But I was actually lucid, although I didn't realise that I was actually lying in bed.
      Does that make sense?

I remember thinking "Oh, I'll have to tell the guys at DreamViews that I fell asleep on my sofa, and in the lucid dream everything was exactly how it was when I was awake, except a dream".
When in reality, there were a couple things different to my REAL lounge, except in the dream, when I was "awake" (but sleeping IRL) it was the same as when I was "asleep" in my dream, which was ALL a dream.

      Damnit, dreams are confusing.
      Goals:
Fly in a lucid dream [X]
Go to my own world in a lucid dream [ ]

Had a dream in a dream

I had a dream about Darth Vader's stunt man couple nights ago. I was explaining to him, how I had a dream about Darth Vader and then I was in that dream, where I faced Vader in a dark hallway (not lucid). First I just heard his breathing, grabbed my lightsaber from my belt, turned it on and he did the same and then it ended... Well, at least I have my hands intact and I didn't learned anything new about my father.
The Dream World is calling and I think it is a collect call.

I had a dream where I did a reality check, and everyone around me was asking me why. I couldn't feel the texture of anything, and then I told them all that I was dreaming.

I then proceeded to do nothing, lol.

Sometimes the meaning of things in the waking world don't take full effect in dreams, even if they're as plain as day.

Traverse the inifinite. Experience the impossible.

I once dreamed that a bunch of my friends and I attempted to share a lucid dream...and succeeded! We were all running around in the "shared dream" that we created inside my dream, and I was like "This is so awesome! We're all lucid dreaming!" But I never was lucid...

hey Raevan, donīt feel discouraged. I consider that having those "lucid dreams" are signs of progress, your brain is still playing and understanding the idea until it gets the concept, then you will start having Lucid Dreams.
You say you have them ...all the time? tell me more, how long have you tried to become lucid?

Inface having them 'all the time' means it could become his dreamsign! try the MILD method my friend, It sounds perfect for you.
