      Dream Signs

ok so ive been attempting lucid dreaming for just under a month now with having 1 short blurry lucid dream and i have almost 30 dreams written down in my dream journal.

i am getting frustrated because looking through my dream journal, i see almost no signs that are obvious im dreaming, all my dreams seem pritty normal and almost every dream is different.

there are 1 or 2 occasions where my dreams are the same, for example ive dreamt of being in classrooms with old school friends but this has only happened 3 times at the most, is this enough for it to be a dream sign, i guess what im asking is, how many recurring dreams do you need to have of the same thing for it to be a dream sign?

      thanks.

Dream signs are things that help YOU recognise it as a dream, and are basically just things you recognise as triggers to do reality checks. If you can't see any really obvious links between the dreams, then looking for dream signs there may not be of much help.

Do you do many reality checks? I'd set some up for as many situations as possible, so in the end you've basically programmed yourself to do reality checks every few seconds of your life. That way, you're almost guaranteed to check in your dreams

Every time you do a reality check, really consider the fact that you could be dreaming, and look around the room. Even if you're awake, see if anything looks strange.

Dream signs are only effective if you're aware enough to catch them, which starts with considering, always, the fact that you might be dreaming.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
