How do be more "in" lucid dreams ie. Make dreams more intense, clear, and focused?

The past few days or so, I've been having lucid dreamish experiences. By the way, a few weeks ago I was really dedicated to dream journaling + RCs but then I got lazy and haven't been doing them lately. This past night I think I even may have had a legit lucid dream but I could also have just been dreaming about having lucid dream, I don't know. But anyways, I don't really remember all the details really, but I remember being lucid (I think I was) and but it was all really hazy and not vivid. I did the rubbing hands together thing and spinning around but weirdly I was thinking, "Ahhhh, I think I'm actually doing these things in real life and its gonna wake me up". I'm pretty sure that wasn't happening since I couldn't be spinning on my bed in the middle of the night, haha . Those didn't really do anything to help, fyi, I don't think I was very aware of "in" the dream. There was one moment in my dream where I actually felt something, like could feel the sensation of touch and it felt pretty vivid.

What do you guys suggest? I think I'm mainly having these types of dreams and getting closer to a strong, vivid lucid dream because I've been sleeping in longer since its summer which equals more time and opportunities for dreaming. So yes, any tips on how to make the lucid dreams more vivid and clear, which I think would really help my control and memory regarding my lucid dreams. Haha, thanks!

You should keep writing all your dreams down in a DJ. Back when I first became interested in LDing, my dreams weren't so vivid and it was hard for me to recall them. As soon as I started journaling, I remembered my dreams every night and the vividness was greatly increased.

So, pick up journaling again. It's a good practice!

You said that in your dream you tought you was doing the hand rubbing, etc, in waking life. Looks like you was still connected with with your real body, the objective of the stabilization techniques is to anchor you in the dream world , when you do these techniques try to focus on the feeling, and in your senses, for me the hand rubbing works great - I focus on the feeling of my hands and fingers rubbing each other. With the right stabilization technique, your dreams should become really vivid, and your lucidity too.

And keep dreamjournaling - what's the fun about having a lucid dream when you don't even remember them? It will be like they never happened.

Thanks guys. I'll start journaling tonight. Also, I know there are hand rubbing and spinning, are there any other stabilization techniques?
