Thread: Can you create a dream scence from scratch whilst attempting MILD?

It isn't mostly/only about your visualization skills, it requires some luck, even if you're trying to incubate via WILD. This is because, once again, there are many factors that influence the chances of X dream content showing up, and when it shows up.

The most realistic scenario is one of multiple attempts until you get the desired result, but maybe you'll get lucky who knows, experimentation is part of the fun ^^

In MILD there is unconscious gap between visualization and the dream, therefore the dream scene is mostly different than intended incubation scene. What remains is the though that you realize that it is a dream.

I think what you mean is DEILD -you strongly visualize a scene and it suddenly became vivid dream... Yeah I had few of these, there really interesting is the quick transition between imagination and real solid dream.

A DEILD is a dream exit induced dream. The word you're probably looking for is V-WILD. It's my most used method of induction, and the only one I can do reliably.

My question is, if your visualization skills are good/vivid, can you create your own dream scene and incubate a dream from scatch?

Yup! As I said, it's pretty easy. You need to be able to 'visualize' both touch and vision though, otherwise it will feel like painting a picture instead of warping your consciousness from real life to dreamland. I'd recommend arby's tutorial if you want to learn how to do it. Google it.
