what exactly is the universe? |
|
Heck, I don't know. What do you think it is? I just know that it says stuff to me like: |
|
...is this a dream character or something like cleverbot or an RSS feed or what..? |

What happened to the post from the one who couldn't flap? O, wait a minute, I am unflappable too! |

The universe is this... thing I live in. |

Possibly, but there are also false awakenings. Like you think you have awakened from a dream, but you are just dreaming a new dream. When is it the the dreamer realizes itself as the dreamer and not the dream? |

Mayflow. I'd love to debate you. You should make a coherent post sometime. |

Here is a debate I once made up between the the Buddha and Dr Phil. It has nothing to do with either of them, but only my perceptions of them. Do you wish to debate about subjectivism and objectivism? I bet I can probably do that if you want to. |
|
How the hell does the universe give you a note to begin with? |

Of course it leaves it on my pillow. I figure it leaves on anyone's pillow. Yes extremely pretty perfumes, but some of the decaying body and the skunk things could use some improvements, I think. Still, it maybe has a balancing motive, because if there is no bad, how can there be the good? |
|
I'll have to look harder I suppose. I've never had a note left on my pillow by the universe. If you tell me it comes with a dark chocolate, I'll die of jealousy. Personally, I think the decaying body perfumes are the best. Nothing like them to remind you to live. |

Give me some Plato, quote me or copy to me the Phaedrus dialogue if you are into western philosophy, or something from the Diamond or Heart Sutras if you are into the Eastern ones, but do not tell me you wish to speak philosophy if you haven't a clue of how to. Now hand me your fine papers some more and I will write on them some more, but your papers had better get much more refined if you desire my etchings on them, because if you truly wish to debate me, you had better jack up your game a notch or two. You challenged me darling, now I challenge you! |

Obsession with form over content. This is typical. Good as ultimately sensation of form is the constituent of our reality. But bad as it takes effort to separate the form from the content we attach to it. Many people just aren't up for the task (effort) and confuse forms that are themselves made of our projected content for basic forms. Their own content has been smuggled in. |

Form and content as I see them are interdependent. For one thing, they are both manifestations of mind. Without form how would there be content and without content how would there be form?; Therefore I see them as mutually coexisting. It's a little like short and tall and cold and warm. All of these are our mental creations and manifestations. Old and young, bright and dim, male and female. |

If one hangs out in time and space long enough, May, they'll inevitably learn it's through the twin gateways of persistence and patience that masters become masters. |
