Thread: Intro Class Daily Dream Snippets

Well here's my DJ entry from last night. Recall is still pretty poor but I can see even from 2 nights ago I am remembering more, just need to stick with it!

Well another night, another Grimm dream. What I remember is only a fragment but still from what I can remember:

Nick is called out to the murder of two people but to say it's strange is an understatement. He calls Monroe over to the scene and it turns out the pair aren't dead at all. They are a type of Wessen that need to be hit by lightning every few years to keep on living, however the lightning strike puts them in a death-like state until they recover from the strike.

I don't remember much else but I can remember when Nick first walked onto the scene, he entered the living room and all you could see when he walked in was an overturned armchair with the occupants foot sticking up in the air. They were wearing tights and a slipper.

There was also something in there about the incredibly hot Captain Renard but I really don't remember anything other than he was in the dream at some point.

Not sure if I should start practicing WILD/DEILD now or wait until my recall is a lot better. I also really need to figure out when to reality check - I work at home so my day is more or less the same day in, day out.

I was talking to my friend over skype, while playing minecraft digging a really deep hole. On the way down i found alot of diamonds.

I had a dream where another member, OldSparta, kept kicking me out of the dreamviews chat. Then a white lady popped out of the screen and grabbed me.

Not sure how to copy and paste yet from this phone, but I will say that my lucid this morning was very interesting in that I managed to push my face through the floor and create a tunnel to hell. I wasn't aiming for that exactly, rather trying to get to purgatory to get a soul for the totm.

Me and this other guy were CIA operatives and we were tasked to protect the basement of my house. However, our security forces were overrun and they drove us out of the basement. We had no weapons, but my comrade found something that looked a lot like a phaser rifle from Star Trek. We went down and neutralized all but one enemy operative, but then my fellow agent's gun stopped working and they went hand to hand. While they were fighting, I loaded a BB Gun that happened to be sitting on the table, and tried to aim for the enemy guy's eye. I don't know if I hit him or not, the dream ended.

Some bearded woman was going on about how she was still a virgin. "That's because you have a BEARD!"

Had a weird dream where Rudedudeowns (another DV member) became a moderator on DreamViews.

I'm back at the campus of my laboratoryschool. I'm there because I have an appointment with a highschool teacher. Some Belgium tv-chef is also there.

I just got out of the shower when I had the notion that I was in a dream. (I've been getting them a lot recently but missing them because of the dream distracting me). This time I grabbed onto that notion and reality checked as soon as possible and sure enough I was dreaming. My hand was distorted and all my fingers contorting back and forth, a lot more than usual during a reality check. I couldn't seem to stabilise the dream. I walked up to the bathroom mirror and wiped away the condensation and was shocked at how accurate to real life my reflection was. I decided to phase through the mirror (a first for me) and sure enough soon found myself blurring right into the own image of myself, only to find myself back laying in bed, thinking I had woke up but in reality it was just a false awakening. I went downstairs to find OpheliaBlue in my living room and quickly explained to her about my lucid dream experience but she seemed somewhat uninterested and walked out, causing me to wake up for real.

Someone spooned my backside while I was trying to transition in an OBE style lucid. Noooo!

I really like sticking my face through hard surfaces. I stuck my head through the floor again and created another tunnel to hell. It would really suck to find out that LDs are a true parallel universe, because both times I made this tunnel, I pissed some things off pretty bad lol. Still haven't managed to find purgatory yet.

I had a lucid where I summoned a dragon, made it turn purple (slowly like a chameleon), and then I watched as I made its wings grow bigger. I wanted to ride it and I was afraid its small wings would give. I summoned a saddle and rode on it's back. Its skin was very rough! D: We flew for a few minutes over my town

A Tibetan temple. I am a boy in the temple. We guard and help in the place. I put sacks/sand in front of temple to protect it from the wind and water of the sea. A thief entered the temple at night. We have a mission from the lama in the city. I see a huge tornado and thunderstorm. I am given a note to a funeral, but I can't read it. It is unclear and already too late.

I had a dream where I had sleep paralysis and saw the Virgin Mary. I told my mom in the dream, and she told the neighbors. Soon they all came running and chasing me, asking for a lock of my hair.

I was near the sea. I was with a friend, and I was carrying my trusty, point-and-click camera. We saw a HUGE fish very close to the shore; it looked like a huge 'sapsap,' almost like a sunfish in size. Its 'dorsal fin' is above the water level, but I can see very clearly underneath, and it wasn't deep at all. At first I thought it was dead. It was moving but maybe it was just the waves. Then it positively swam parallel to the shoreline, going to our left (away from us). After that, we saw more, and I took more pictures. One was a long fish, and there are other fishes bigger than a person.

I went deer hunting with my dad. I see one and shoot but it no bullets hit it. I get right up on it and imagine blowing its head clean off. I see this happen in my dream and then it goes back to normal. By the time I get to it... *click*... I am out of bullets. I decide to tackle it and my dad picks it up and tames it. The deer shrinks to the size of a lap dog and starts licking his hand as we drive away with it in the front seat of the car. I turn around in the car and notice that there is no back half. It's just open air. The deer sees it now too and runs off and joins a giant half deer half ram in the woods. I decide to let it be.

was having a contest scrubbing a kitchen floor with Barack Obama. It was a tie.

Flashlight was 'chasing' me from behind at night in the forest, creating shadows in front of me. I felt ecstatic, wild. I jumped and rolled in the dark forest, lied down, and stared up at the moon. I howled. I was a woman. A witch. I can feel my dark, tattered dress.

This dream was really long and chatty so I only remember the last bit with any clarity. I was the judge in an intergalactic trial for a rl co-worker. The court room was in a spaceport with huge glass windows looking into space. There were several "Dr. Who" type aliens giving testimony and I saw a stereotypical Grey Alien in the corner. Someone said something about the 'Q' and the Grey got really nervous and told them not to speak of it. In the end I felt bad for my co-worker so I dropped all charges and told her that if I ever saw her in here again she would be in jail for a very long time. I told her she was free to go but she started crying and seemed sad like she wanted to go to jail. I wanted to question her but I saw my mom leaving and ran after her. She said that she wished that I didn't live so far away. I told her that it doesn't matter because I have the TARDIS!

An initiation in Tibetan Buddhism? (no idea what an initiation in Tibetan Buddhism is like, or even if there's one) I was lying face down on the floor/mat. One man stepped on my back to massage me as well. It didn't hurt, and I barely felt anything. There was chanting that I don't understand, and an instruction that I should hold the paper with some characters on my toes. I find it hard to hold on to them, but I persisted. Then I was taught the first character: "Ba". I was shown how the character is written, but one of the guys there is blocking my view, with his legs. I think it was unintentional. I was asked what it means, and I think I know, but I simply forgot. I was chastised, and reminded with clues. It ended with the meaning 'store,' like a place where you buy stuff, but it seems it has also the meaning of 'storing energy.' It was just one character out of a whole set. I think 'te' means hands, like kara-te. But I never got to that point.

Had a dream where my mom turned into a flashlight.

I am looking at a caravan of sorts. A llama leading a camel. I commented to someone how tall and proud the llama looks while the camel looked so down and low. I said it's a great metaphor for kings and slaves. The camel's neck was almost nonexistent, and it was very close to the body. On the other hand, it seems that the camel can survive harsher conditions. We arrived at the destination. I saw a huge peacock with it's beautiful tail feathers spread out. It was majestic.

Through the window, I saw them; I shot at the spiders.

They did not move, they did not die. Their remains writhed and crawled in vain approach. I stepped out among the leaves, among the trees, to see what I could find.

A yellowed folder, a worn knife, a letter opener, all spread along the floor.

I heard the leaves crinkle, I heard them crack. She followed me and would not turn back.

So I bopped her on the head with the folder.
