      Zach's Workbook!

      Reality Checks:
      - My goal is to recall one dream a night for a week before I start trying to LD, so I haven't practiced any reality checks to excessively yet. However, plugging my nose, asking myself "how did I get here?", and trying to push a finger through my hand seem like they would work for me when the time comes!

      Dream Signs:
      - I haven't found any reoccurring signs in my dreams yet, for I've only just started!

      Short-Term Goals:
      - Remembering one or more dreams every night for a week
      - Having my first LD
      - Executing basic control in a LD
      - Exploring my own personal dream world

      Long-Term Goals:
      - Living out childhood fantasies in a LD
      - Having one or two LDs a week
      - Reaching a point where I can comfortably help others to LD, and make people happy

      Lucid/Dream Recall History:
      - I've been keeping a dream journal for 6 nights
      - I had my first ever night where I recalled two dreams!
      - No lucid dreams yet, but I assure you I'm working on it

Current Technique: (for dream recall, as this is what I'm currently practicing)
      - Going to sleep before I am tired, drinking water before I go to bed so I wake up around 2:30 - 3:00 am, keeping a journal (which I will type up into this site)
      - I also found repeating the mantra "I am going to remember my dream tonight" for around 5 minutes had success!

I'll update my journal every day! Feel free to keep up with my progress

      Goals accomplished:
      - Recalling two dreams in one night
      - Getting three friends interested in learning to LD

Hey Zach! to the Intro Class!

I'm really loving all these rainbow-colored workbooks lately. Looks so mesmerizing :3

I also like your last long term goal, you are not only doing this for yourself but also for others. That's really neat. Hmm well everything looks good, you're off to a great start.

See ya around, and happy dreaming!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Great workbook, Zach! Welcome to the class.

You've got some great goals and you're starting from just the right place -- dream recall! When you master dream recall (and learn to maintain it when it slips), you'll have one of the most important tools for LD success at hand. Getting to know what your dream life is like will help you over and over again. (It's fun too.)

I'm impressed that you've already gotten a friend interested in LD! You'll have to share your sales pitch some time because I have the best I can get out of my friends is usually a "Huh. That must be kind of cool. Too bad I never dream."

I've actually gotten 2 friends who are willing to put an effort in now I pretty much came up to them, said "hey bro do you know what lucid dreaming is?" and told them they could use it to do whatever they want, with practice. They liked the idea, and I told them how to start it. I guess the secret for being successful about this is only telling a few of my friends, and the ones I knew would be interested. I have a lot of friends who wouldn't see the "big deal", so I went after ones who would appreciate it on a deep level.

I looked around at a few workbooks before starting mine! One thing I noticed was how awesome the bright colors look

And while writing my goals, I thought, wouldn't it be awesome to have a group of friends who all LD, and to be able to talk to someone about different experiences face to face? And I'm normally one to help other people as much as possible, whether its struggling classmates or someone who just dropped their books. I figured this was something I could help people with too! Quickly after realizing that this wasn't something I wanted to keep to myself, I told a few of my more spiritual friends who immediately became intrigued

Welcome to DreamViews, Zach. I'm excited to see your progress here! Even though I have very little experience on LD'ing myself, feel free to PM me with questions. I'm pretty much knowledgeable on everything related to LD'ing and more. Hope to see you around more!

      Welcome Zach!

Your goals are very realistic, i like that. That should make for a good start plus having friends along the way is a big help. and who knows, you might make a friend or two here as well!
Keep it consistent and you are almost guaranteed success.
