In all my dreams, everything is very realistic like i normal day i would have so i find it very hard to notice I'm dreaming. Like in my dreams i am never in an abnormal environment always a believable place :S I'm not sure what i can do to DILD

Hi Vendetta, many people's dreams are realistic but even they can have a successful lucid dream. Here are some tips on how to increase your awareness so you'll automatically know you're dreaming (excerpt from my DILD guide):

      1. At least four times a day at completely randomized times, stop whatever you're doing and look around. Observe, does anything look distorted? Ask yourself if you're dreaming. Don't set the times that you'll be doing this up in advance, just do them when you remember. But if you have to remind yourself at the start, write a note.
      ^ This is very important.

      2. Each time you look at a digital clock to get the time, perform the digital clock reality check (look away and look back again to see if it's changed) and couple it with another one. In today's world, many people have access to a bedside alarm clock and computer.

      3. When reading a book, stop at random times and pick a line of text. Analyze and explain to yourself what the passage is telling the reader.

      4. When in on a conversation, listen to what the conversation is about and internally think about whether it's a realistic topic for the people speaking.

      5. Perform the nose-plug reality check every time you get into bed, and get up in the morning. This check works even if the lights are out, and can help catch a false awakening (FA).
Hope you can have some lucids soon!
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Ah... The seemingly normal dreams. I remember having a dream where I went through a normal day of school and went home. But because of that the next morning I thought it was Saturday and missed school lol. Or how once I fell asleep in class and when I woke up I thought it was time to go home so I went to my locker packed up and went home. And when I got there I realized it was only 1:00. At first I was like OMG have to get back! And then I also though "Why the hell didn't anyone stop me?" But doing regular reality checks will help with your problem. I do 2 every hour on the hour. I set my phone alarm to vibrate once and hour every day of the week. Now it's so engraved in my head that anytime I feel a vibration I instantly plug my nose and try to push my thumb through the palm of my hand lol.
