There is on such thing as part lucid. Are you sure you weren't lucid in the dream? I'm somewhat confused by your post, you say you were not lucid then you describe what appears to be a lucid dream. |

I know, um, i was confused by it too. Like, I didnt realize by myself that i was dreaming. It was a dream and then in my dream (i didnt do this myself) I thought or said " im dreaming!' Because my dream said this, i became partly aware i was dreaming but i couldn't quite control it. I'm sorry this is really hard to explain. So i was either lucid, or dreaming.? |

My goals
[] have one intentional lucid dream...
[] duel Voldemort
[] Fly(broomstick?)
[] catch a pokemon (how about a Charizard? Vulpix?)
[] meet Jace Wayland
I know what is it. You were indeed not lucid, however, the fact of remembering your dreams and your will to turn lucid is in your subconscious and you are dreaming about archiving your goals. It means you are closer to archive lucidity soon because your mind is focused to it. |

It's hard to tell from this particular example. I'd almost say that yes, you were lucid, but what many people on the forums call "semi-lucid." Which, by popular definition would mean you were only just aware of the fact that you were dreaming. The knowledge was there in the back of your head - you know what you're looking at is a dream, but control doesn't even factor into the equation. In fact, in my semi-lucids, I'm powerless to do anything except watch myself act like a dork |

I read in a book from Robert Waggoner that we have 5 |

thanks for all the info. In the dream, everything was like, super clear, i still can remember what the view looked like out the window and everything. But i had no control over my dream. So i guess i wasnt lucid, but i remembered it well. I'm going to keep trying and hopefully ill get it next time. |

Was it a 3rd person view? Many times people will experience knowing they're dreaming but viewing it as an outsider and watching the events go on, while having no control on the dream whatsoever. This still can happen in a first person view though. |
|
actually, it switched. I remember seeing myself sitting on the bed, but when i 'realized' i was dreaming it was first person. |
