      Sleep Paralyzis Exteme Experience(for me)

Ive been into dreaming for a couple if months now, but i had not attempted to wild until this past week... Most of my wild attempts where before I got to sleep, and this my extreme determination, I did make it to a false awakening, but i didnt have the skill to recognize it as such, much less take it anywhere. Anyway, thats just my background. I created this post to share one of my experiences from the previous night. Here goes.

So last night... it was probably my 4th or 5th attempt to wild before sleeping, which is, i know, stupid... i plan on perfecting my wbtb before moving on any further with that technique. Yet, as i lay on my bed, trying to fall into the dream state, after about 20min, it suddenly dawned on me how relaxed I was. I had never felt that way while on my bed, and the feeling was amazing. For about 10min, I basked in this amazing feeling, until my left arm started to feel really uncomfortable. I fought this annoyance for about 20min, until i realized that it wasnt the typical symptoms of falling into sleep paralyzis.. it was just that the position of my arm was quite unnatural and i had failed to notice so in my state of relaxation... now it was starting to get to me. So I moved it, AND BAM!!! My arm felt like it was FLOATING AROUND THE ROOM. My arm sooned regained SOME sensitivity, but it felt like it wasnt connected to my shoulder, but somewhere about a foot out to the left or right...definately a weird feeling. So then i tried to lift my arm, and i was startled yet again. Although it had felt i had lifted it above my head, i didnt see any movement.. my arm was still laying on the cover... The weird thing is, this went on for another 2 or 3 minutes. I had fun experimenting with it. After that, my arm felt hot, my whole body was sweating, and my arm felt like it was gently vibrating. Anyways, Id like to know what all of you guys think of this! Have any of you had something quite like this happen to them? ^ _ ^

I've never had anything like that happen to me, but it sounds like an almost OBE or AP experience.

I had some very interesting experiences, but never with just one arm!
I love that relaxed feeling you speak of. I go into that utterly relaxed state every night before going to sleep. It is very good for you. I think that it keeps you young. Sometimes I WILD this way before falling asleep also, even though people don't think that it is possible. My advice is to keep experimenting with it. I doubt that you will be able to repeat this same experience, and I don't really see the value in trying. Just keep hanging out in that very very very relaxed state just for the sake of it without any other goals. Perhaps you will WILD. That relaxed state is a great time for giving yourself affirmations or suggestions, like "I will become aware of my dreams tonight" or "I will recognize that I am dreaming" etc...

      Keep up the good work.

Awesome! I noticed that the days after I had relaxed in that way, I did feel great! I remember telling my friends all day how great I felt; before that, I had always felt sorta diluted. This method of relaxation has seemed to make my life more steady, more meaningful. I cant explain it, but this is great guys. Thanks, Ill keep this up. I think it has some great things to it. ^ _ ^
