      Heaviness

Hey this is my first post in this community. Last night I had the most lucid dream I've had to date. Upon realizing I was dreaming, I felt extremely heavy, as if from tired exhaustion. I tried testing the dream, but all I was able to do was change a dream character's hairstyle. I attempted to change a picture's frame from gold to red, but but my efforts were unsuccessful. Does anyone have similar experiences, and how did you overcome them? thanks!

Welcome! You are sleeping so naturally you could feel a little tired in your dream. As for the control, the dream control section can help with that. Also you can tell yourself as your going to sleep and within the dream that you are dreaming and that you can do anything you want. Basically the best way to get dream control is to practice.

      Hi, welcome to Dreamviews!

Sometimes realizing that you're dreaming can come with heaviness, or lethargy. You just have to remind yourself that you're dreaming, and that you can do anything you want in it; gain confidence and then you may not feel as heavy. Dream control is all about expectations, confidence, and believe. If you look at a picture frame that's gold but you want it to be red, look away for a few moments. Imagine what the frame would look like with red coloring instead of gold, and then look back, expecting it to be red. It can be tasking at first, but it gets easier with practice, as Kevojy said.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
