Hello all,
I've read many posts on the forum, but this is my first thread of my own creation. I'm new to lucid dreaming, and was looking for some advice as-well as answers to a few questions that I have developed along my journey.
I most recently had a lucid dream last night, I find that I enjoy a semi-lucid state just 'going with the flow' of my dream. Watching/experiencing my dream as a movie, however is there any easy way to get back lucid control once I have given it up?
I seem to be limited by my expectations of reality, all of my dreams as in places I frequent in my waking life. School, work, sometimes a familiar aspects in an alien environment.
I've tried flying, but made some rookie mistakes. I have tried transportation, but I am having trouble convincing myself to let go of expectations of reality? I can seem to control the environments of the dream world, only myself. Where I go, and how I interact with the people and environments already in the dream. Before sleep, I tend to get paranoid checking the room etc. Even now I am looking over my shoulder as I type this post, only happens when I am thinking about dreams. (Which is odd). Could this relate to why I am holding onto my exceptions of reality, as anyone had a similar problem?
