      Red face G'day Dreamviews!!

How's it going guys? I just thought I would follow my introduction message like a robot and get over here and introduce myself. <--- (just had to add that)
I'm new to the concept of Lucid Dreaming. I have been interested in dreams i suppose all my life but I only recently found out from a friend of mine the real capacity and amazing things you can do in your dreams, via lucid dreaming. I looked around on Google and Youtube (especially Reece Jones, look him up) and I've started a DJ about a week ago. I've had limited success and I'm slowly getting better at recalling my dreams as I've learned new techniques.
I hope I can get to learn a few things and meet a few people on this site and hopefully Dreamviews will help me out with any problems or issues I need resolved.
I hope to see you all around

      Hi newtz1995, welcome to Dreamviews!

Which technique(s) are you hoping to try out first? If you're trying DILD, I have a guide that might help along with the Dreamviews one. If you have any questions, just ask!
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

First of all, welcome. I can't tell what kind of person you are, but if you are an impatient person, CrazyInSane's CAN-WILD technique, will probably be your best bet. But i recommend that you try all the techniques, as they can give very different results.

      Thanks for your welcome Puffin!
Yeah I guess right now I'm doing DILD as I am doing reality checks about every hour but I'm mostly focusing on building recall. I looked at your DILD guide and learnt a few new things so thanks for that . Also, is the adoption thing still happening?

Thanks for the link jervilan, it looks very interesting and I might give it a go. i don't know if I would be able to 'transition' into a lucid dream though, especially considering my inexperience of even recalling a dream, much less not ever having a lucid dream.

Yep, you can make a post in the adoption forum requesting to be adopted. Unfortunately I myself don't have time to adopt any more people.

Thank you Everyone for you kind welcomes. I would make a journal but as of yet I havn't had a reaaly interesting or long dream yet. In fact I'm having trouble remembering dreams atm. I'll make sure to look at the adoption forum, puffin. Im definitely interested in a teacher. Are there any requirements?

I think you have to be a member for 2 weeks or something. There's more info here. :3
