Hello, I'm kind of new to the concept of LD, so I'd like some suggestions. What are some induction techniques? Rather, which ones are the best ones? Thanks. |

Well, there are essentially two kind, one is WILD (Wake Initiated Lucid Dream) and the other is DILD (Dream Induced Lucid Dream). None of them is better than the other, not generally speaking at least. Anyway, WILD you enter the dream already lucid, and generally requires you to lose some sleep and time during the night, while DILD takes waking time and helps you become lucid within the dream, both can achieve the same results if done properly, so it only matters in which one you like better, or which one works better for you. |
Which one should be easier for a beginner to start with? |
DILD, probably. WILD is hard even for some experienced people. |
That depends actually, some people get SP naturally, so it is easier for them to WILD. So it depends on you, do you normally wake up in the night naturally? That would help with WILD, if not, go for DILD. |

Reality check through out the day. Eventually you should do it within your dream and start up ol' Mr. Logic-center-of-the-brain. People who are new to LDs (Like you and I.) should do them fairly frequently over the course of a day. |

ZedCa has the right approach. |
So, reality checks during the day? How often should I preform them? |
For RCs, you should do them at random, when you see one of your DS (Dream Sign, you need a DJ to find them) or when you see something weird happen. When doing them, should pay attention to the results, questioning whether or not you are awake, and finally do more than one RC when you do them, having back-up is important since RCs aren't 100% infalible. |
