      Dream Interpretation Help!

Well I woke up this morning in a bit of a state remembering this vivid dream. (This is quite a big deal for me as I never remember then after I’m awake) and I believe that this dream was very significant.

I arrived at this strange dark apartment and let myself inside. I walked inside and it was my 4 best friends apartment. It was just a normal day and we were chatting and then finally they asked me what was in the bag. I started screaming at them all of a sudden telling them that I couldn’t believe after everything that my ex boyfriend put me through they were helping him and his new girlfriend plan their wedding. Then I grabbed the bag and stormed outside in hysterics and sat on the pavement outside their apartment.

I tipped out the bag and out fell books that I started d to flick through. They followed me outside and dragged me back upstairs. Everything was still dark and I had been crying so much I had makeup down my face. Then they asked me what was in the bag and they pulled out this gorgeous white wedding dress and wedding lingerie and they helped me get into it and told me how beautiful a bride I would have been as if they were bridesmaids on my wedding day, but I was crying and upset.

I just find this dream quite bizarre as for my ex boyfriend and I, marriage was never talked about and we broke up a year ago and no longer are in contact. Although, one of my four best friends and my little sister are still in touch with him.

If someone could tell me the symbolism behind this that would definitely put my mind at ease as I never remember my dreams and this one was so vivid.

I find that as I remember (And, of course, write down.) dreams the easier they are to interpret. In retrospect that is. I actually have 4 very vivid dreams I had in the past I'd really like interpreted... But I'd rather ask my subconscious about it, in fact, doing that is one of my prime motivators to lucid dreaming.

Interpreting my own dreams isn't all that hard for me, even the weird stuff now that I think about it. Sometimes you have to interpret things as a base.

Example: What does a wedding dress mean to YOU, what do you associate it with. (Well, the obvious. Then what does a wedding mean to you? Happiness? Love? Commitment?)

The bag, too, could represent baggage (Durr Zed), something used to hide something, etc.

All in all, breakdown important elements into their basics (Based on your feelings towards it, both in dream and out.) and make logical connections. At least that's what I do.

Might want to post this in the interpretation forum, we don't really put stock in interpretation here. though
