I find that as I remember (And, of course, write down.) dreams the easier they are to interpret. In retrospect that is. I actually have 4 very vivid dreams I had in the past I'd really like interpreted... But I'd rather ask my subconscious about it, in fact, doing that is one of my prime motivators to lucid dreaming.
Interpreting my own dreams isn't all that hard for me, even the weird stuff now that I think about it. Sometimes you have to interpret things as a base.
Example: What does a wedding dress mean to YOU, what do you associate it with. (Well, the obvious. Then what does a wedding mean to you? Happiness? Love? Commitment?)
The bag, too, could represent baggage (Durr Zed), something used to hide something, etc.
All in all, breakdown important elements into their basics (Based on your feelings towards it, both in dream and out.) and make logical connections. At least that's what I do.
