Maybe sometimes. But that is a very rare ocassion. Dont worrie. Normally the first lucid is exciting and the most memorable you will ever have. Lucids can get scary. But remember if you think it it will happen. So think happy thoughts. |

LDing can be scary, but it usually isn't for me. Knowing it's a dream generally erases fear, or at least, that's what I've gathered from my lucids. I suppose it can be overwhelming sometimes, but it all depends on the dream and, of course, the dreamer. |

Nope, not scary in the slightest. You're lucid — you know it's a dream — and as such how could it be scary? |

Ive never found it scary. Maybe overwhelming at times when you stop and think of how your whole enviroment is created by you..... |

I accept that my reality is always a dream so if something changes I know I'm right.

I think what terrified me the most when I first started out was more the notion of becoming lucid, the "risk" of SP, etc. |

Ive never found them scary either. Infact a weird side effect for me personally: since training to lucid dream i no longer get scared in non-lucid nightmares |

For most people it is so exciting that they wake up, and a small percentage the few people get scared by it, so I don't think you should be worried. I haven't even heard of a scary first LD experience. |

Never scary at all. It's acctualy quite fascinating knowing that this entire world your in is all created by your mind and that you have total freedom to do as your please |

My first experience of a lucid dream was quite the opposite. I looked strait into a mirror which is supposed to be really bad and give you instant nighmares and at first it was a bit scary but I realised it was a dream and I overcame a fear of mirrors Ive had for a while! Lucid dreams are the complete opposite of scary! |
