Hi, I'm New, And I have Some Questions.

Ok, I've Never Lucid dreamed before and have rarely been on this account. I'm going to get a DJ But I was wondering How many Days I takes of recording your Dreams Until you become lucid? And when should I Make my Dream Sign? (Dream Signal, Or whatever it's called to make sure you know its a dream i forget the name of it)

Hey, welcome. The time it takes to become lucid can vary from person to person. Even after someone becomes lucid they should continue to keep a dream journal. Dreamsigns are a constant theme the appears in your dreams. Everytime you see this thing or things, do a reality check. A good reality check is pinching your nose and trying to breathe through it. or you can try to push your finger through your hand.

Hi and welcome! If you are dedicated, I'd say you'll have your first one within a few days. But it's like Zebrah says, it varies from person to person. Your DJ is something you need to write in every day if you can, the more you recall from your dreams, the better your recall will get. In time you'll remember loads of them each night.

If you want to try really hard, I suggest you think about lucid dreaming all day long. Daydream about what you WILL do. Know you will have one within a few days, and realitycheck a few times each hour. Just before bed, you either meditate or clear your mind in any other way. Then you tell yourself you WILL have a lucid dream. Repeat a small line, like; "I am dreaming" or "I lucid dream" over and over for as long as you can. That is called a "mantra". Don't let it keep you up, but try to have the last thought before you go to sleep about lucid dreaming.

If you can fall asleep quickly, I suggest you try to sleep for as long as you can. Everytime you wake up during that time, you tell yourself "When I fall asleep I will lucid dream" and do the mantra.

      Good luck!

      Hi and welcome...
      Well,I'm still recording my dreams...
Though recording dreams does not affect the chances of you having a lucid dream that much...The purpose is to get familiar with your dreams, find dream-signs and make sure you dont forget a lucid dream you possible had...
Well,as soon as you have enough dreams, you can start looking for you Dream-Sign(An object, person or situation that you dream often about)
And don't forget reality checks and most importantly your intention to start having Lucid Dreams..
      Hope this helps,
      Enjoy the forum,
      Sam
The idea is to remain in a constant state of departure while always arriving..
