Hello people. I'm uh... Kinda new here.

Hello, my name is Conner. I watched "Inception" a few days ago and it left me curious. Like any curious person I went to Google and asked it questions. One of the links brought me here, and I felt that DreamViews is a promising place to discuss the matter of lucid dreaming and such.
I have a few questions that I hope to be answered. One major one on my mind is: Is lucid dreaming harmful to the health (i.e. mental) of a 16 year old male?
I hope to enjoy my time here as a part of the community. If you want to talk to me just send me a PM.

Welcome to the forums Conner. Too answer your question, no, there is no way lucid dreaming can harm you mentally or physically unless of course you lock yourself in your room and do nothing but sleep . You should definitely start with creating a dream journal where you record all of your dreams. If you need help with anything feel free to ask or shoot me a private message.

Hi and welcome! The only way lucid dreaming can be harmful, is if you let it replace the real world as youre reality. Like juvenile said, start writing your DJ and focusing on becoming lucid. Setting up goals and such. I recommend you read the different tutorials at the wiki section: Wiki - Dreamviews Lucid Dreaming Community & Resource

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here, or in a PM. Keep on dreaming!

welcome. I would also recommend getting a DJ. It dramatically helps with the dream recall process. It doesn't have to be an expensive notebook of somesort, just a small note pad. Mine is almost full. lol.
