      New around here, hello everyone!

      I thought I'd say hello to everyone and tell you a little bit about myself. I've always been fascinated by dreams and I started writing mine down when I was 10 years old. I love trying to figure out what they mean and what things I need to be paying attention to. I've never really experienced a lucid dream, but there are times when I dream something upsetting and I'm able to tell myself I need to wake up, and I do. And I can sometimes stop whatever is happening in the dream, and force the scene to change if I just can't handle what happening. I also have recurring dreams where I'm able to tell myself in the dream that I know I've dreamt this before. I'd love to be able to sharpen this skill and learn more. And also, just have a place to read and chat about dreams with other people

      I used to use recurring dreams as a lucid jumping point too, they help a lot.

      Although I still consider myself a newbie, browsing around the site has really helped me keep and retain interest in lucid dreaming every day, and people here are very helpful and kind in regards to any questions you might have.
