Big problem with my LD's, please help?

Hi, been keeping a dream diary since 11th Jan

so far i've been lucid 3 times - my last 3 nights of dreaming.
That seems great, it's been through the MILD/DILD techniques. Ive been repeating mantras before i sleep, listened to lucid dreaming 3.0 yesterday night, and i've been checking my hand and so on every few hours.

      Heres my problem:

When im lucid, i dont get 'fully lucid'
i realise i'm dreaming, but nothing is vivid, much of the dream is very...undetailed, shapes arent perfect, it doesnt seem real at all. I've tried rubbing my hands (which i think i do) things still seem very undetailed and blurry. I also think I tried spinning, but maybe I didn't, I think i'm doing these things, but am I? I think i wake up, or everything goes black when I think I spin, and i think i wake up. It's all very annoying to keep the focus. In fact, I even last night went on skype to talk to my irl friend about lucid dreaming. Of course, if i was 'fully lucid' i wouldn't even be doing that!

So I'm just wondering how I can make things vivid and how to prolong things, because at the moment I haven't been able to do anything except move about through walking or running, while lucid.

      Thanks!

      Welcome to the Forum.

Relax. You have been practicing lucid dreaming for a good 6 days. Lucid dreaming may come easy to some but for most it takes lots of time and patience. Keep up with your dream journal and write down every dream you have and as much detail as you can

      Hi there Different

      Congrats on being lucid!
I agree that it's a skill that you will get better and better with over time. It's a huge step that you are lucid, now you just need to keep practicing.
Maybe check out this link and practice what that first video recommends a couple times a day. Then make sure to watch the subliminal video before sleep. It might not help but it can't hurt to try (unless you have epilepsy, in that case, please don't try it!).

thanks for the encouragement and tips, I will try to follow a few tutorials and open my senses in my dream. also try to rub my hands more to try and induce things.
Wondering if i should watch the vid or listen to subliminal messages 3.0 by ninja?

Also, have a question on WILD and MILD/DILD.

      If i:

      - dream check often
      - listen to lucid dreaming subliminal messages 3.0 before i sleep
      - say to myself 'the next time i dream i will realize i am dreaming' while trying to sleep
      - and do not purposely try to paralyze myself

      how am i lucid dreaming?
      through wild, dild or mild???

      thanks.

Just-I'd rather dream through mild and dild, wild is unpredictable and i'd rather get one technique down before trying another.

Also need to clarify my dream diary to indicate how i dreamt

      e.g. i thought i was mild/dild
but i remember waking up in my bed, then being lucid after realising my light bulb on my light were expanding and then shattered. I then got up and run to another light to turn it off before it exploded.

      is that wild or mild/dild?

      thanks!
