Cant understand my new unusal sleep

SO it all started about a month ago, when i was sick w/ strep-throat. I started having very vivid dreams , now i knew i was dreaming but never had such colorfull realistic dreams before. Now im starting to have dreams where i am awake (but im not awake at all im sleeping still) and when i do awake from these dreams i feel very confused and disoriented. Example last night i went to bed early and awoke after a dream, for some reason i got out of bed walked into the living room where my husband was. I was standing there wipeing sweat off of me. he asked me what was wrong and i replied fully aware I dunno i feel wierd i know i am awake now but i still feel like im a sleep. After realizing i didtn feel quit normal i returned to bed and layed down for a few mins till i fell back a sleep. When i woke up in the mornig after dreaming vividly again and again, I remembered everything even getting up and being confused. Its hard to explain but it feels like Im stuck like 1/2 stuck a sleep and 1/2 stuck awake. Does anyone else experince this?

drink a fifth of JD and pass out. Usually puts me in the deepest sleep I ever get.

but seriously... maybe you could try stretching all your core muscles before you go to bed. This always enables me to fall into a deep deep sleep and wake up feeling refreshed.

It is very possible that when you woke up and walked into the living room that you were in a false awakening. Does your husband remember this happening? Or can you ask him if it really happened? You should always check for false awakenings any time you wake up..

Are you still on medication for the strep throat?

I'm no doctor, but maybe it would help to pull an all nighter? I would sometimes do that if I was in a sleeping rut. Don't even try to sleep for a full night, by the next night you should be tired enough to get a real sleep. The upside is it is natural and lets your body deal with its own chemistry. Good luck whatever you try to do!

That sounds like a creepy feeling. Why were you sweating so much? Is that normal for you?

There is a natural disorder that causes sleep walking in which the muscle paralysis system fails and you act out your dreams. If you know your house well, it is very well possible that you could walk through your house in a dream and at the same time be doing it in real life, then suddenly wake up being somewhere... It is even possible to sleep walk with your eyes wide open and still be seeing nonphysical imagery. I can link you if you are interested in more information on this.

well when i do dream i sweat a little bit, and it is a creepy feeling i almost feel like i dont wanna go to sleep. Its like i dont know the difference between dream and reality at times, but it only occures at night around the same time. And ive been really tired durning the day so i dunno if the deep sleep dreaming is disruppting my sleep...
