      Current Progress

Hello fellow Lucid Dreamers. This might be pointless but I wanted to share anyway. I started my LD quest last Thursday and so far I've been dreaming every single night and remembering. I don't right them down anymore but I am still unable to become Lucid. Last night I was flying and it felt great but i didn't have any control at all and I didn't know I was dreaming. I guess my mind thought it was ok to be Superman. Lol. I still do reality checks when I wake up but I forget to do them in my dreams. Can't wait to LD for the first time. Welcome to all the new people also.

      Happy Dreaming!

Awareness! If you keep doing reality checks in real life without actually stopping and asking yourself if you're dreaming, you'll end up doing the same thing in the dream itself... Without becoming lucid. So be sure to really be skeptical about the matter - both dreams and waking life feel real because even though we "know" we're awake, in dreams it's the same thing until you do an RC.

It's good you're remembering dreams every night, so keep it up.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Dont stop writing down your dreams in the morning as this is one of the ways the mind learns to link dreaming and real life experience.. doing this makes you more aware of real life while dreaming and vice versa... and also brings about more awareness in dreams.. reminding you to check your reality during dreams, thus, becoming lucid.. do not skip the dream journal as it is very important and seems to have already worked great for you starting out.. Keep at it and good luck!
