1. Applejuice is a common supplement. I use it myself and I always dream more and get more vivid dreams when I've taken some. It's got to do with 5-HTP. You can also drink loads of milk. 2. I'm not sure, but you will definitely feel weird sensations. Cramps, spasms, rushing feelings, hot, tingling etc. I haven't heard of naussea before, but I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. Either it's all in your head, or you're just nauseous 
3. You were getting close. Keep on lying still and ignore the feelings and you'll start seeing images and such.
4. Shared dreams are said to be dreams you share with other dreamers. In the "dreamplane", a world of dreams. The dream you described sounds like an annoying nightmare. It happens that you re-enter the same dream by "mistake" and the dream continues.
