Hi and welcome to DV! You gotta get over the fact that something MIGHT happen, cuz things you expect to happen in dreams, happen. You have all power in your lucids, and you're only limited to what you believe. Don't worry, lucids don't turn ugly unless you're very scared they might. So try to lose the fear of nightmares. I was troubled by nightmares when I was younger, but when I started wanting to have them for the thrills (they're extremely awesome experiences are they not?), they disappeared. |

The best advice I can give, is to try not to worry about anything scary. You thought you were going to see something scary in the mirror, but you truly didn't want to...correct? Thus, nothing scary appeared. For the most part, you can feel a little fear, but if you truly don't want scary things to happen...they won't. If a monster does happen to come along, the best way to overcome the fear, is to face it. You are all powerful in your dreams...just straight up kick the monsters ass! If anything scary comes, take a deep breathe, let out a roar and charge into battle. That is what I do when I get a little scared. Just let out a battle cry and go whip it ass. Good luck to you! |
