      Hey! Problems Lucid Dreaming

Hey there I'm Kurt and I'm new here, nice to meet you.
I've been trying to lucid dream for like four months now and it's getting really frustrating. There have been 3 incidents in which I've had lucid dreams but all three times they have been really lackluster. The dreams were really short like literally a few seconds to three minutes and the worst thing is that they have been kind of blurry like I'm looking through dirty glass or murky water if you know what I mean and I don't have like powers or whatever. I can't fly or like summon objects. Now I've read up on lucid dreaming and I know it doesn't come straight away but I'm really jealous of people who are doing it so easily and having fun exciting dreams as opposed to my boring, blurry, crappy ones.
Also I can't WILD I find that there is no Hypnogatic (however you spell it) imagery and I can't keep my eyelids closed (as moronic as that sounds)

Sorry for the long boring rant but I had to get that off my chest and would appreciate some advice or whatever. Sorry about the length again however if you managed to read it all any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Hey and welcome.

What i can tell you from my experience is that a dream journal is basic. Once you start to remember 1-2 dreams per night you can start with the inducing techniques. BUT as i have found out is that take what the guides tell you to do and try them all out then find your own path. We are all unique. Some will tell you to lie down with your hands on your belly while attempting to WILD and others will tell you to just do as you would normally do in a night to fall asleep. But have a anchor that you keep thinking of. In order for us to help you more i think you need to specify which part is it you find difficult. There is a whole lot to WILDing, some of it extremely hard and some easy.

Oh and a last question , do you attempt to WILD when you do the WBTB technique ? For me its waaaaay easier to do it then.

I hope i can help in some way. Ask any question and i will try to help you. I dont have alot of experience but i am getting there

      Peace.

Try really wanting to get lucid, and knowing you will before bed. Visualize, do mantras and look forward to it supermuch! Might work WBTB is great with MILD.

By the way any advice on how to make the Lucid Dreams clearer, mine are so blurry and have no sound and I move slowly like I'm in quick sand. I tried thinking "clarity now" but it doesn't work.

It's better not to think it, but say it. In loud and confident voice. Make a verbal command basically - any phrase that mean increasing clarity and vividness would work. Also as a good verbal command work spells, like you know, from Harry Potter If it's too dark, imagine wand in your hand (if manifesting things is hard just pick any stick, brush, pencil, anything that looks like a wand) and say "lumos" or "light", "brighter" or whatever word you put this sense into. It may sound a little silly, but it works!
      Good luck!

There are many, many ways to achieve this. Your dream is unstable and you simply need to stabilize it. Here are a few stabilization techniques you can use: Shout out loud "Clarity Now!", look down at your feet until the dream becomes clear and slowly move your vision back up to the forward facing position, rub your hands together, stare at a particular spot and imagine it slowly clearing up then widen your range until the entire scene is clear, hold your arm out in front of you and wipe away the blurriness in your vision, slowly rub some objects in your dream and feel those textures with your hands, feel around in your pocket until you find a stabilization pill and swallow it, perform a loud sneeze w/o covering your mouth, stand still and smell the air...open your mouth take a big inhale and taste the air...hold out your hands and feel the air...listen to the sounds around you...and look out into your dream and imagine everything becoming clearer and clearer, quickly spin around in a circle...possibly a few times, rub your eyes or even put in some eye drops. These are all things I have used in my LDing lifetime. Good luck to you and I hope this helped you out a bit!

Keep imagining and think about something you sleep, create images in your mind?
And since I obtain lucid every night without thinking, doing the above will highly increase the level of my lucidness/awareness in dream..
