Looking for some dream control tips eh? You can be very creative in your dreams, especially if pure will power/force won't work (which often times is the case). For flying, flapping your arms or the swimming motion are generally the easiest ways to stay airborne, but the flying is often slow going this way. When I first learn to fly, I would concentrate on a specific structure out in front of me. I would stare at it and focus on pulling myself through the air to that point. After doing this for a while, flying became easier. When I first take flight, I fly with my arms straight out in front of me like superman. Once I get going, I move my arms wherever. If you are struggling to fly, you could search for a pair of wings or get a DC to fly you into the air and help you get a feel for it. Don't forget to ask DCs help if you need it. Some DCs are douche bags of course, but many will help you out if you just ask. If they don't believe it is a dream, show them that it is by doing a RC and tell them to do one. Now, ask them again for help/advice.
If you want a specific item or want to meet a specific person, it is always better to just look for it. Summoning things out of thin air can be difficult, especially when you are relatively new to lucid dreaming. Just imagine the item/person and walk around looking for it. If it is a person, walk around corners calling their name out loud. A lot of times you will start to run into people who progressively look more and more like who you are looking for. Eventually you will find them. As for items, just look around the area for it. Also, check your pockets. I have pulled some crazy things out of my pockets before...things that definitely shouldn't have fit in there .
Telekinesis is fairly easy with some practice. Start with small objects...stare at them and imagine it slowly lifting off the ground. Practice this and move on to larger objects. It helps to hold your arms out in front of you and use hand/arm motions as well (lift your arms as you imagine the object lifting off the ground, etc).
Super speed is similar to fast flying in my opinion. Concentrate on a point/object/location out in front of you and run toward it while imagining yourself being pulled toward that object. The key is to quickly change your focus to a different object once you reach the initial one. At first, you will be pausing every time you reach the focus point, but with some practice you can shift to new objects and sprint at super speed in one fluid motion. If you can't get the hang of it, you can always look around for some special shoes. If you want to get creative try to find Sonic the Hedgehog's shoes or Usain Bolt's shoes. It could also be that you are wearing slow shoes already. Try to take them off before running.
I never had much luck teleporting to new locations. I always just fly, imagine the location I want to go to, and search for it. Doors are pretty good to. Imagine a scene behind the door and then open it. If you fail, shut the door and try again. Don't just imagine the scene, but imagine what the scene would look like through that doorway. If you want to teleport to a location you can already see, then just look at that point/location and imagine yourself there. Blink your eyes, make a quick turn, or something to trigger the teleport. It just takes some practice as well, but it is easier than teleporting to a completely new location in my opinion.
There are many, many ways to accomplish dream control and achieve goals during dreams. Sometimes you just have to think outside the box and get creative with it. Just practice and experiment with different methods of control. Good luck to you and I hope this helped out a bit!
