      Just wondering...

Most of the dreams I have are strange. They are not lucid, but the settings are what puzzles me. They are places I know, for example- the road I live on, my drive way, front yard, etc. but they are distorted. They are bigger, but they remain the same. Most of the time nothing is added or removed. I would like to know what this means. I've tried looking other places like dream interpreters, but they only cover the basics. I hope some can help me understand what is going on in my head. Thanks :)

Having dreams about places you are familiar with is normal. Interestingly enough, when I have a dream that's in a place I'm familiar with, it's usually a little smaller then it is in real life.

Yeah it's completely normal. Some people have dreams about fantasy worlds, others about regular worlds. Some dream about their own house, some of a friend's. Trying to interpret small things like that is only going to make your head spin. If they're bothering you then the only thing I can come up with you can try is to do some RC's whenever you are at those places IRL.

It's normal. (Like others said.) I have dreamed of my house multiple times, it being full of water, full of lava... sun outside is way brighter, lightning is striking to the yard... etc.

You should use that as your dream sign. When I have a dream of a familiar place and it is slightly different that is what triggers me knowing I'm dreaming. Instantly when I notice something different I do a reality check and boom. Lucid. Except it the few times that my brain seems to not want to work and I don't become lucid after a reality check
