As often as possible. I always check when I enter a restroom, because I want to make sure I'm not dreaming before using it.
It really doesn't matter much what you do, as long as it works for you. I just ask myself if I'm dreaming, but then I'm pretty good at identifying them.
---o--- my DCs say I'm dreamy.

The more you RC during the day the more beneficial it is to you. If you want results quickly, I recommend looking into all day awareness. Otherwise, try doing about 20 a day to start out. You have to pay attention to what you're doing though, don't just RC as an impulse, really be aware of reality and pay attention to detail.

Couple this with a dream journal to boost your recall and you should be having DILDs in no time.

Okay but put a cap on it. Say for those of us with OCD who tend to do things... to excess? Would you say once an hour? Once every five minutes, every time you breathe...

Yoshi put together a pretty nice tutorial recently ^

@corranhornchamp, the more often you RC, the better. RCing every time you breath would be like ADA, which will help you more than anything, in terms of DILDs.

As I always believe, dreams are so obvious and different. No need for RC.
Last night LD about me having to roller skate everywhere. Its harder. My legs got wobbly when I try to get up. So I know I'm in a dream.
And eventually will find myself another way to move of course (complicated).
      Goals:
      1. Attacking my enemies instead of running away from them~ Ultimately taking control of my dream situation.
      2. Remember that I can always summon a shield around me to protect myself in dreams. No need to fear!
