      Advices For Dream Journal

      Hey people how's it going?

I'm starting to keep a Dream Journal but I don't know how to do it. I'm using a pencil and a notebook not electronic device just thought you should know.

Is there a correct method that i should follow? Or is there a page about this subject?

      Thank you.

Hello, and welcome to DreamViews! Basically all you have to do is write down your dreams. You can be as organized or as unorganized as you wish. Just keep the notebook at your bedside, so you can write down the dreams as soon as you wake up. Try to write as much as you can. If you can only remember fragments, then write down those fragments. If you couldn't remember anything, write down, "Couldn't remember any dreams tonight." Hope this helped and good luck to you!

keeping a dream journal is must. using a notebook is better.keep it beside your bed.sometime u wakeup in night and you don't want to write your dream as you must be feeling sleepy.so i suggest keep a tape recorder or mobile and record your dream and you can write your dreams in the morning in notebook.you should write your dreams in present tense and underline the dreamsign and analize.just keepin a journal is not worthy.you should try to find your dremsign and personal dreamsign.

I like to keep a small pad of paper by my bed for quickly jotting down dream notes after waking up, and then later writing it in my dream journal in more detail.
I simply put the date, sometimes a title for the dream, and if it's a lucid dream I might add some afterthoughts about it and what I could try to do better next time.

I even have a separate notebook for keeping track of my lucid dream goals.
      It's all in your head.

Yeah, sorry I didn't notice your post sooner . I always try to go through the different sections of the forums and make sure that all the threads with 0 replies get answered. Sometimes though, a thread will slip through and I won't notice it until later. I'm glad you enjoy my tutorials and I hope they are helpful. Good luck to you and if you ever anymore questions, don't hesitate to ask!

One thing I've found helpful is to write on only one side of each page. That way you can leave the opposite page for additional notes or later comments. It can be hard to write the dream down in order when I am first remembering it. I use the blank, opposite page to fill in gaps in the continuity, or rearrange events, draw little diagrams and sketches, ect.
