      Exclamation Need some advices for WILD

      Well, im trying WILD for 3 weeks now, and i dont get too much of success.. just 1 btw!
      I`ll give you all details i can think about what i am doing and stuff.

      What am i doing:

      *FIRST
      -Wake up after 5hours

      -Stay im bed, and start WILDing (i dont go to the bathroom or something, because if i do it, i think i will be so aware, that i wont back to sleep)

      -Dont move, count my breathe for like 40sec (i cant do more than this)

      -Just start wondering, and thinking like what i do when im going to sleep at night.

      -And start to relax my body parts, by focusing them.

      *WHAT I FEEL
      -I feel the waves, and start to feel my ears almost dead, cuz i dont listen to nothing.

      -I feel like i am upside down, and all the blood is in my head

      -My eyes start to shake a lot when i am about to get in SP

      -And i feel it fading

      *WHAT I DO, WHEN I FEEL THE SP COMING
      -Dont focus on what is happening, i just focus on my breathe

      *AFTER THIS
      -Than i just give up, because when it fades, it dont go back anymore.
      and its like 1h 30min after i start the attempt.

      Explaining some things i do:
      -I dont leave the bed, because i think that when i wake up, i am already the sufficient or even more sufficiente aware for WILD.

      -I dont count till 150 my breathing cuz i dont feel that this helps me, cuz i am already aware enough!

      What I think its happening:
      Everybody says i need to sleep 5hours at least before attempting WILD, but when i do it, i am not tired enough to sleep easily!

      I think that a large portion of being able to WILD is being aware of what suits you the best. I would suggest experimenting with different time frames of sleep. For example, you said that 5 hours of sleep prior to you WILD attempt leaves you feeling much to awake to fall back asleep. I would make some sort of list of time frames ranging from 1 hour of sleep prior to your WILD attempt all the way up to 5 or even farther depending on whether or not you think its necessary. You can then record results for each time frame and pick out the one that produced the most promising results and use that as your WILD attempt time. Make sure you try everything, even if you feel that it would only hinder your success. If you haven't tried it then you can't state with assurance that it doesn't work for you. Knowing what works best for you is what will cause you to succeed, that's why I would suggest experimentation.

      IM not a pro on WILD, but you are very awake past 5 hours because you seem to do it everyday (am I right?). I think your body will adapt waking at that hour. That happened to me before. I dont know a solution just have a normal sleep schedule (bed at 11 PM and wake up at 8 AM for example) for 3 days and then you should feel tired again... or you can have an irregular waking to time for WILD (dont know if it has conequences on WILD because never tried it, just a theory ) one day wake up past 4 hours, another 6, another 5.. Good luck!

      Yes Cardeal, i awake everyday at 5:30 to go to school!
      now im on vacation, so i can practice.

      BUT! YAAAY!
      I had and LD tonight after WILDing.
      But it was very strange the way it happened.
      Listen:

      -I waked up after 4h of sleep, and i was so fucking tired.. i almost got lazy and start to sleep.. but.. i start wilding. Than in 30min, my whole body was sleeping, but no SP.
      I felt it comingo like 4 times, REAALLY, strong. But i was so tired, that i gave up.

      Than i just rolled to the other side of the bed, and started to try to sleep.
      but i was aware, and was like WILDing, without knowing i was WILDing.

      In 2min i fall sleep, BUT i dont saw the SP and nothing.
      NOW THE WEIRD PART

      I listened in my head someone saying something about my girl. And in my toughts she was there.
      so i just moved my tongue out of my mouth.. AND I FELT HER TONGUE! So f*cking real.

      And in a second i was in the dream, and i was conscious aware, and it was 100% Real, ad 100% Lucid.
      Thanks guys, i will keep doing it.

      But anyone knows what i did, to get lucid?
      I dont know if it was a real WILD, cuz i dont felt the SP

      Damn sweet! Congrats. Hmm I dont know anything but I guess it should have been a false awakening or very strong hypnagogic sensations? If you slipped to the dream 100% aware right when you entered it, it was a WILD. A strange thing happened to me too in the last night. While wilding I have never achieved hypnagogic sound and SP. But in the last night I saw the strongest hypnagogic images I have ever seen (my others were very weak ) But some tractor passed in front of my house and my dogs started barking and I pretty much lost my concentration and decided to fall asleep :S Then I wake up again (maybe some 30 min) and started to hear my young cousin cry and that was wrong he isnt in the same city where I live, and then it vanished (was I attempting a WILD while sleeping? lol freaky) But still I had a DILD and it made worth the night xD

      I read in several posts and people have different hours to WILD (because of REM i guess) and you seem to have choosen a good one, try it again. It should have been that or it was the simple fact that you were so much tired that it made you have a (WILD?). But again, I havent got a WILD yet so Im probably just saying sh*t xD Boa sorte

      This sound you heard of your cousin i guess i know what it is..
      its normal to me listen sounds as this you heard.

      Almost all the time i wake from a dream, i listen to some things are not there.
      the last time i heard a baby crying.. its normal to listen things when you wake up from a dream, and you know it.
