      Hey, everyone. New here!

I'm new here, yeah. I've had a lot of dreams in the past that I can think of (I still think I have a bad dream recall, I had a dream last night but I can't remember anything of it!) and I've had lucid dreams, purely on accident, some time ago. Somehow, in one of them, I noticed I was in a dream, and I tried to summon someone, which didn't work, so I went along with the dream. I tend to have low awareness, too, and I often don't sleep much. I hope this changes. =w=

I'm currently trying WILD and DILD, and sometimes FILD. I have no idea if I'm doing it as I should. xD

      Well, hello, everyone.

(My bedroom has an air conditioner that's turned on every night, and it tends to be quite frigid in my room. Later, on some days when I'm sleepless, it feels like an oven. Why so? ;-; )

Welcome to the forums. I'd recommend picking one technique to focus on. DILD is the most likely to give you success and it doesn't mess up your sleep.

As far as your tempterure issues I cannot help you there.

      Good luck lucid dreaming!

Hello I'm new here too. I read that I should try DILD technique first. Well, tutorials?, Guides?

      Welcome to the Dreamviews forums!

It's cool you've had some lucids before. However, be careful with going along with the dream - you can become so involved that you lose your lucidity (which isn't exactly a good thing!). And it can definitely be frustrating when you have a dream, possibly a lucid, that you can't remember. That's where recall comes in - drinking apple juice, taking vitamin B6, and maybe even eating chocolate can all help improve how much you can remember each night.

The temperature changes you're describing is unusual; I've never heard of that happening before. However, it might have to do with the fact that when you're asleep, your body temperature drops slightly, so if you cannot fall asleep, it increases, therefore tiring you out. It could be your body attempting to make you fall asleep easier because sweating it out can exhaust people. Why that happens I don't know, but that's just a connection that I'm guessing might be there. Someone will have a definite answer for it, but I don't.

WILD and DILD are good techniques to try out - I can see ThePieMan has already posted my guide, so I won't repost it. Feel free to look at it - it explains the basics of DILD - increasing your awareness and questioning your surroundings to become lucid. Then, there's also the Dreamviews DILD guide, which was written with the same basic principals of awareness.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me, another Dream Guide, or anyone else you believe can help. Good luck!

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
