One hour and 40 minutes isn't so bad. At first when I was learning WILD I didn't know doing WBTB helped out a lot (and I was a newb to boot). I would lay in my bed for up to 3 hours trying to WILD sometimes. |

I lay on my back for an hour and about 40 minutes in a dim room with nothing but white noise playing. I pushed myself harder than ever to persist and several times I felt like I came close to full paralysis. No major feelings of having to move or hallucinations. This is very frustrating. I have read through lots of guides and have gotten almost nowhere. |

Were you tired when you were trying? You should do it during a WBTB or a nap. Don't get disheartened if your first attempts fail, it's a pretty hard technique to master. If it doesn't work for you, try the other ones. Good luck! |

Thanks for the replies guys. I played the white noise at a good volume (I actually thought it was raining outside) Ill wait until tonight to try once again. I also need to install my blackout shades. Looking forward to more attempts. |

I've been trying to wild for about an hour a day give or take for a week or 2. Unique thing is each time i do it, it seems like i understand a bit more about the processes and feelings, its only a matter of time. Id just say pay attention to the feelings you get, what techs you try... etc. |

I usually don't recommend it, but a sleeping pill might help |
