Welcome to DV! To learn how to Lucid Dream you need dedication. This isn't something learned over night and everyone has different learning curves. It might take a day for you to get Lucid intentionally, or it might take weeks. Check out the different tutorials here: DV Tutorials - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views |

Welcome Mickay, yeah i would agree with Matte, It takes time and patience and if you have those then your half way there, you wont learn overnight but with practice you will get more and with effort you will learn how to make them last longer and also learn controll...good luck |

Breathe deeply as soon as you realize you are dreaming. Deep breathing calms you and your breathing is one of the few things that you can control in your dreams. 5 minutes is pretty good starting out. Eventually with more practice they will get longer. |

One thing that worked for me when I was younger was learning that what I wanted or thought would come to be. How I did this, more by accident then practice, was that when I thought of anything terrible that I DID NOT want to happen it would happen, kind of a murphy's law effect. I would think "gosh I really hope a zombie doesn't start chasing me" and then boom! it would happen. Eventually I figured out that I could do this for positive things. Soon it became "gosh I really hope a zombie doesn't start chasing me" followed by "ok how about the ability to control fire to take care of said zombie." Hope this helps! |
