Welcome to Dreamviews! Don't worry, my family thinks lucid dreaming is stupid too. Hope to see you posting around! |
|
i dont even know what kinda train wreck would occur if i told my family |
|
Ha, now why would they think that's dumb? It's fun, let a man dream! ;) |

Looks like you already have some experience getting lucid, so I'll point you to some resources to maybe help with those creepy ones. Check out the Dream Control and Dream Content tutorials in the wiki. If you understand how dreams are made (the theory anyway, no one knows for sure) it can help you change them |

Welcome to Dreamviews, Cactaur! I think a lot of us can relate to what you're saying; my family doesn't really pay much attention to my LDing endeavors, or dreams in general. They think it's a "waste of time", when really, simply sleeping without realizing the potential of dreams is more a waste of time than anything else. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Hehe. I told my family too. My grandparents laughed, but they were supportive. My parents didn't really pay attention, but they're okay with it. I guess i am lucky! Welcome Cactuar!!! Hope you enjoy your time here at DV. |

Welcome to DV. Lol, only the internet understands. |

Most people have a rather incomplete look at dreaming. I've found most people see no sense in lucid dreaming because they consider dreams blurry patches and thoughts that happen over night. Don't let them bother you, though. You're in the know. |
