I'm new here, I came to talk about my Lucid Dreaming experiences.. Some eerie, and creepy and some nice and happy! It's nice to be a part of a community that will understand where I'm coming from.. My family thinks this is all nonsense.

Looks like you already have some experience getting lucid, so I'll point you to some resources to maybe help with those creepy ones. Check out the Dream Control and Dream Content tutorials in the wiki. If you understand how dreams are made (the theory anyway, no one knows for sure) it can help you change them

Welcome to Dreamviews, Cactaur! I think a lot of us can relate to what you're saying; my family doesn't really pay much attention to my LDing endeavors, or dreams in general. They think it's a "waste of time", when really, simply sleeping without realizing the potential of dreams is more a waste of time than anything else.

Hoping to hear some of your lucid stories in the future!

Hehe. I told my family too. My grandparents laughed, but they were supportive. My parents didn't really pay attention, but they're okay with it. I guess i am lucky! Welcome Cactuar!!! Hope you enjoy your time here at DV.

My family knows what I do pretty much, even lucid dreaming. I have nothing to hide nor any apologies to make for what I do or what I am interested in. And I love my family to death no matter what their outlooks are on life or whether or not they disagree with what I do.

People are different and view different things in different ways. Accept that, never take anything personally, and you're golden! Though, often that's easier said than done

Most people have a rather incomplete look at dreaming. I've found most people see no sense in lucid dreaming because they consider dreams blurry patches and thoughts that happen over night. Don't let them bother you, though. You're in the know.
