Easiest/Most Popular Ways to Become Lucid?

Hey guys! So i attempted my first DEILD last night, but to no avail.

I keep a dream journal and can recall about 2 dreams a night... Anyone have any cool or good techniques to become lucid? With a DILD its pretty much just luck, and that may take forever to achieve an LD.. I was hoping all you guys can help give me some cool ideas of how to increase my LD count!!

Thanks in advance to everyone who posts!

Effectivness between methods varies from person to person. You can experiment with the techniques yourself, but sticking to a single technique and devoting to that is mostly recommended.

I've found awareness is the best way to become lucid; it works most effectively for DILDs. 200+ of my lucids have come from thinking about why I'm doing what I'm doing, being observative, and really thinking whether I could be dreaming. Reality feels real because, well, it is real. But dreams also feel real while we're in them. So, although it may seem silly, if you're a lucid dreamer, you can't really know for sure (or make assumptions) until you take the time to look around and see.

MILD has also helped me quite a bit.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I have had the best luck with DEILDS. I hate WILDS and DILDS are rare for me. So I think the best method is DEILDS!

Deild is more for lucid dream chaining, however if your trying to induce a lucid dream you may want to look at the wake back to bed technique and combine that with Dild, or meditation mantras before you go back to sleep. The worst time to lucid dream is late at night optimal times are early in the morning 3-8:30am depending on your sleep cycle. It might sound weird to say this but you want to fall asleep awake (aware). namaste.

"when you fall unconscious, what your mind expresses is a dream.
When you are aware, what your mind expresses is creativity. It creates your life.
When you are in a higher state of consciousness, it not only creates the life of whatever you want, but also on whom ever you want". -LifeBlissFoundation

The DILD technique is really noob-friendly so I suggest you go to http://www.dreamviews.com/f49/all-da...gyoshi-113253/
But if you think you can take a larger leap, you should use the WILD technique: http://www.dreamviews.com/f79/yoshis...chnique-82529/
