I think that if are not aware in your classes and think you don't need to be, it is very unlikely that you will become aware in your dreams. Lucidity and awareness in dreams will not likely come from gimmicks, if you cannot be aware in your awakened moments. The mind needs a trigger to become lucid, but the trigger comes from being able to be awake and aware and concentrate, not from a stopwatch. Also, I don't think it is all that good of an idea to disrupt normal sleeping patterns as it will probably just deprive you of healthy sleep time. That may provide hallucinations, but not lucidity. They are really opposites. |
