Dream change

Hi I am fairly new to the world of lucid dreaming and therefore have only ever had one(that I know of anyway). I have a question for the experienced lucid dreamers. Do you find that a dream will shift from one place to another without you really wanting it to because the one ld I had, that's what happened. I'm just really trying to find out if it's common.

I've never had that happen to me, but I'm sure you're not the only one who's experienced it. Dreams are funny things.

When you're lucid, it's important to always stay confident, both in yourself as a dreamer and in the dream. You should also keep some focus on your surroundings; it might help prevent the location you're in from shifting around or changing completely.

I've had that happen to me in dreams quite a bit. The scene will change without me knowing how or why it changed. For example, last night I was in a room filled with desks, like a call center or large office space. Then I walked through a door and suddenly i was in a supermarket. And the door just vanished after I walked through it.

and hm, I don't recall that happening to me, but it's not an uncommon thing.
I probably have experienced it now that i think of it. Just keep practicing, the more LDs you have, the more control you start to get in dreams, so just keep at it and these occurrences won't happen as frequently because you will be more confident/aware/etc,
