      Question Book Question

      Hey Guys,

I just heard a couple of days ago about Lucid dreaming from my brother. After reading around in the internet I noticed, that I already had kind of a "Lucid Dream". I was in a dream and I knew that I was dreaming. This actually already happened more than once to me. So after realizing that I want to give lucid dreaming a try. Is there any book, that gives you step by step explanations how to attain a Lucid dream? I know I could read it all up in the Internet, but mostly books are just more structured etc..

I hope you guys can help me out,
      Hero

You could check out the School of Out-of-Body Travel, which is a free e-book. I haven't actually finished reading it myself yet, but it seems to have some good techniques.

Try "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreams" by Stephen LaBerge. It is a very good book, and I definitely recommend it.

      Hey Guys,

thank you very much for the quick answers. I am downloading the Ebook right away. To the LaBerge book: I looked on Amazon and I saw different versions from different years, which one shall I buy? The newest one? And is there maybe a second book, that has more practical guidelines? Because I heard that LaBerge has a lot of theory and not so much of practical instructions for a beginner.

I would recommend getting this version. In my opinion, it is a lot better than his new stuff, and will definitely help you.

      Hi HeroMachine,

In all honesty, save your money. Dreamviews is the best resource for lucid dreaming. If you really need to contribute, click on a couple of ads, but honestly, there is more information here than any book could possibly provide.

But I looked around in the forum, and I didn't find a step by step explanation how to achieve a lucid dream. I find a lot of tactics, but that doesn't help me a lot if I don't know the basics.

Not sure if this is the kind of thing you're looking for, but check this out: http://www.dreamviews.com/wiki/User-...Lucid-Dreaming

I was looking for Puffin's beginner's guide but I can't find it anywhere on the wiki. Hold on - let me dig around a little more... BRB...

Ok I thought Puffin wrote a beginner's guide, but it's not listed in her sig either.
