Yes indeed, that was a lucid dream. If at any point in the dream you realize that you're dreaming, that means it's lucid. |

This morning I was in bed at about 7:00. I had already woken up for the day but was faking sick to skip school. After walking around and eating a bit for like ten minutes, I went to lay in bed. I didnt want to fall asleep yet so I was focusing on staying a wake. At some point I guess I fell asleep. I dont remeber what I saw but I remember hearing a buzzing, like cicadas, that reminded me of summer. I could control the volume of the sound. At this point I realized I was dreaming and decided that I wanted to go visit my friend at his house. I was on my way, buy I woke up. At some point in my sleep I remember feeling my body being stiff but vibrating violently. I dreamed that I got up and went to the bathroom and upon attempting to get back into my bed, I could not. I tried to pull myself onto it and to step onto it. I could not. A few years ago, I was taking a nap and I woke up while I was in sp, I believe. I could not move at all, it was terrifying. Please let me know what you think. |

Hi there my friend, |

When you wake up and can't move, you are in Sleep Paralysis. It happens every time when you sleep so you don't act out your dreams. Only most of the time you don't notice it, because not only your body, but your mind is already asleep. In case you want to have another LD, check out the DV Wiki for different methods of having one. |
