      My first Lucid Dream!

Yayy! So I woke up at night and used the FILD method. Than I reallity checked. It was fantastic feeling when I plugged my nose and I could breathe clearly! So I slowly got up and walked over my room, tried to jump, but nothing special happened. I looked at my mobile and the time was like 8487569.56569 so I smiled for myself. Than I walked out of my room and I thought that I am awake. Was it a false awaking when I started to think that I am awake inside of a dream? What are the best ways to control it? I even made a RC and I still could breathe, but somehow I didnīt notice it, oh O_ô

Nope, false awakening is only when you actually awake in a dream, and you know, get out of bed and such.. What happened to you is you just lost your lucidity, because of all the excitement !
The best way to control it is to stabilize the dream, by looking at your hands, looking at the textures, and using all your senses , (touching stuff, rubbing your hands, hearing the sound around you, etc.)
-Once you are lucid, be sure to remind yourself, say out loud "This is a dream." every now and then, and your lucidity will last for much much longer !

      p.s.
CONGRATZ on your first lucid dream ! And i hope you have many many more
once you have the first lucid, and you know its possible, it gets easy.

Thanks for the reply! :-) Okay, I hope that tonight Iīll have the chance to exercise ;-D I hope that one day Iīll be able to make myself go on a gig in a dream, or to play a Quiddich ! Wish me luck :-D I never had doubts that lucid dreaming is real, but I didnīt think that the FILD will work on the first try, itīs so easy! :-O Anyways, thanks again :-)

Congrats on your LD and Welcome to DV!

Better control comes with more experience, no worries, you'll get there You may wanna read up on other techniques, like MILD/DILD, DEILD and WILD. Great tutorials in DV Wiki.
