      Hey Im new and stuff

Hi. I just found this web sight and it has a lot of interesting stuff on it!

Anyway i have a question. So I had this dream it was rather long but cutting straight to end I found myself talking to someone(whom I perceived as a peer). He said to me what if this all a dream and I said jokingly yeah what if it is(Not lucid). Then he said no really what if it is. I proceed to really consider it. Then this great terror over took me when i relized it was and I felt like i was dying everything went dark and i had this strange feeling for a few seconds. It felt like i was being transported violently somewhere.I was awake when the feeling stopped.

Anyone have any ideas what that feeling could of been? Im thinking my brain waves went berserk I was so afraid.

      Welcome!
It's nothing to worry about really. I would say that it's the odd opening to a nightmare, except the dream plot is based around you wondering if it's a dream. I may be wrong, but that's my guess on it ^__^ Welcome again.

Any questions about lucid dreaming? Drop me a PM here!

Have you had a lucid before? Normally the first reaction to realising you're in a dream is excitement because of the hard work put into wanting to become lucid - but in your case it looks like you haven't been practicing. I think you probably had this reaction since it was so expected due to your dream character telling you making it seems sort of creepy and strange causing the terror.

I've had DC's walk up to me and tell me that I am dreaming before - when I've had not even the slightest bit of lucidity or suspicion that I was in a dream. Your subconscious knows a lot more than you'd think!

Oh and the feeling of being transported violently is nothing to be afraid of - you'll read of the strange movement sensations people can go through when attempting a WILD - and what you experienced is basically the same thing. You were simply experiencing strong movement hallucinations as you were waking up. Personally I find them kinda fun
