Talking I think i had my first DILD!?

So heres what i wrote in my DJ

"I think i had my first lucid dream!! so heres what happened...
We were in a town, one that looks like the first one your go to in Resident Evil 5 and me and some other people were fighting off a zombie invasion!! (i cant remember who!) so, we were on the rooftops and taking em out as they come and i was armed with a shotgun... All of a sudden i flew STRAIGHT UP into the sky, at that point i looked at both of my hands, the back and front of them and said "I am dreaming, I AM DREAMING!""

Sadly right after that (and i mean RIGHT AFTER i got done saying that) i woke up

I believe it MIGHT of been a FA but, when i woke up i had a big head ache and ended up staying home from school...

For you expirienced ones here, can u give me advice on what might have happened?

Note: When i told myself i was dreaming, i didnt feel any different in the dream world but maybe it's because i woke up soo fast

That does sound like a DILD. So congrats on that. ^__^
I would say you probably got too excited and that caused you to wake up. My suggestion is that next time you realize you are dreaming, take a moment to take a few deep breaths. Then try to stablalize the dream.
Dreams for me usually dont feel too different, lucid or not.
As for your possible false awakening, getting into the habbit of doing a reality check the moment you wake up will help you catch those almost 100% of the time.

Anyways, if you have anymore questions, feel free to ask!

Sometimes it is easiest to become lucid right as we are waking up. Becoming overly excited can also toss you out of the dream.

Awesome! Good for you. I just had my first lucid dream as well, and I know how happy you must be to have had one. Good luck having plenty more in the future!
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.

I would like to add that if in the future your dreams fade as soon as you achieve lucidity you can use this neat little trick to quickly re-enter a lucid dream. I use this personally with great results.

The exact same thing happened to me for about my first 15 lucid dreams.
In the end I fixed it by rubbing my hands together while saying dream stabilize. This is a very strong stabilizing method.
Another that has worked for me is stoping to the floor and tasting, smelling, feeling, and looking at it.
