Last night was my first time ever lucid dreaming and it was incredible! Here's my story...

So last Thursday after my friend had been telling about his lucid dreams decided it was something that I would want to do more than anything in the world so I spent the next few days doing nothing but scanning the forums here on DV and trying everything technique possible. Even though it had only been 4 nights of trying to have an ld (with some naps using the wild technique in the afternoons too) I just could not do it. I was doing rc's throughout the day also. Then I read somewhere about vitamin b6 making dream recall a lot more vivid so I bought a bottle of 100mg b6 pills and two before I went to bed took me from remembering 0 dreams a night to being able to tell lengthy stories about my dreams!

So yesterday I bought the book Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen LaBerge and read it a good 2 hours studying the techniques presented mainly the MILD technique. Upon going to bed I took 2 vitamin b6 pills an constantly told myself tht I was going to realize I was dreaming. So when my dream came around (I'm not going to type the whole thing cause it's fairly lengthy) I was in my bedroom and there was a side door that isn't normally there and before doing any kind of rc I knew it was a dream! So I pulled the skin on top of my hand for my rc and my skin was very elastic so there was no doubt I was dreaming. So I opened the door that isn't normally in my bedroom and it took me through this glass room like a greenhouse with many weird plants an I went through another door from there which led me to a stadium that was filled with my high school peers and I am now in college so there was no doubt I was dreaming. I was so excited that I was dreaming (but kept a poker face about it so the excitement didn't wake me) that I didn't get a chance to experiment with flying and whatnot but instead just explored the dream world a little. In the other dream tht I was lucid in I was disappearing and reappearing places while my mom was trying to look for me just to mess with her and that action is what caused me to realize I was dreaming.

I wasn't in the greatest mood for the few days I was trying to have an lds because it was all I wanted and I couldn't get it but since I had two last night I woke up this morning feeling incredibly happy. I'm excited to explore the possibilities of lucid dreaming!

Also if you're having problems with dream recall I'd suggest getting vitamin b6 because it worked for me and my friend who introduced me to lucid dreaming.

Thanks for reading and happy dreaming!
