I'm a bit new here, but very curious.

Greetings to all! I've always been a more or less spiritual person, though recently, I've grown quite bored with my life, and only recently have I discovered the very interesting world of Lucid dreaming. It sounds like something I'd want to do, honestly. So, what's the best way to start my process into lucid dreaming? I have yet to have had any lucid dreams yet, so I think I'll need all the help I can get.

If you want a good starting point for lucid dreaming, you already accomplished a big one, starting a dream journal. And the more details the better, which I see you did in "The club, the stray infant and the cliff battle", especially the parts where you describe the scenery (sunset, cliffs, peninsula etc). The next step would be to read over some induction techniques, which are basically different methods to choose from, all pertaining to how you prepare from a lucid dream. OpheliaBlue has already covered all bases so i'll just mention to stay consistent with the techniques. It's extremely important and unless you only want a few spontaneous lucid dreams every few weeks, stay consistent with your chosen technique.
