Thread: Can Babtists Lucid Dream,and what is all this stuff?Another newbie in distress! ;)

I'm 15 and as long as I can remember I have been facinated by the unconcious world.I am from a Christian family that would pretty much kill me if they knew about it.I am the only one in my family who even has dreams.I have to do all this at night,if I went to bed early I'd becrushed to the hospital probably.lol What is Lucid Dreaming?How do I do it?What is it like and what does WILD stand for?And all the other terms.I only get on the computer once a day so I apologize that all this has already been posted.Also I fall asleep after a while regardless of counting.It is like1.......2.................3......goodnight.

Lucid Dreams are simply dreams where you are aware that you are dreaming. You change the scenery, do anything you want even explore your own subconscious mind..
You do it using different techniques as MILD (Mnemonic Induced Lucid Dream; using mantras before falling asleep and during the day), WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dream; directly entering a dream as you are falling to sleep, preferably after waking up after 4 to 6 hours of sleep, in the morning or during naps), DILD (Dream Induced Lucid Dream; realizing that you are in a dream in the dream, can be caused by randomly realizing (rare), by doing a reality check (RC) or by doing ADA (all day attention; watch your surroundings- could it be a dream? ). These are only a few well-known techniques. You can find tutorials under the "Wiki" section of the menu, or in this forum.
And it is quite normal struggling doing WILD at first. It is a difficult technique to begin with.

Notice that EVERYONE has dreams. It's a physiological process, and very important to your mental health. You don't do anything wrong since wether you want it or not, you will dream every night

We have many christian members here who are lucid dreamers, so I think you should enjoy the experience, it's a simple matter of enjoying more of your dreams and welcome

Thats a shame. i'm sure a bit of education would go along way.
There is nothing sinfull or occult about lucid dreaming, as mentioned above me dreaming is just knowing that you are dreaming while is happening.

But you keep at it.
As for your question? Yes, EVERYONE can lucid dream.

Your family would kill you for lucid dreaming? if God didn't want you to lucid dream then why would he make every single human being capable of doing it... I am supposedly a catholic but that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard, no offence intended

This is different though
