      Welcome to DV!
I'm stuck in the same place with 5 semi-lucids, maybe you can try different techniques? You use DILD, am I right?
Just keep DJ'ing, reality check when you see odd things, try ADA.

I think DILD is the easiest way to go, but you have to find the technique that works the best for you.

Welcome to DreamViews. The Beginner's Guide to Lucid Dreaming will help you pick a technique to get started with. Personally, I prefer MILD and DEILD. Start up a dream journal if you haven't already. Record anything you can, even when you wake up in the night. It will substantially increase your dream recall and lucid dreaming. There is a forum dedicated to dream control. The wiki has a useful tutorial regarding dream control, too. Don't hesitate to ask questions. Come see us in the chat some time. Best of luck!

      Welcome to Dreamviews,
When lucid dreaming there is different levels of conciousness, if you are not very concious you will have a lack of concious control.
Keep at it, the more you practice the greater stability you will gain in the dream, then you can work on waking you mind up slightly in the dream.

Welcome to Dreamviews, luminos! That happens, you just need to be confident and realize it'd our dream. Take it over.

As for the most effective technique...there is none. All the techniques work differently for different people. You need to choose a technique that is right for you and stick with it. Please check out my thread: Find Out What Technique is Right For You!

      Good luck

Welcome to Dream Views. Personally, I find the WILD method most appealing because there's no loss of consciousness at any stage, and so gives you immediate feedback on the success/failure of your attempt. Oh, and a WILD is clearly the most surreal technique of them all given continuous consciousness - You experience quite mad effects and sensations during the process.
