Well i had my first lucid dream.

I started reading on this "Lucid Dreaming" stuff about a year ago. I didnt really believe it until something started. For the past too months, when having a night mare or a dream i got bored with i could just tell my self to wake up and then bam, there i was in bed. Until i took a short 4 hour nap, I did it. I was in control of my body. I realized i was dreaming when i saw a reletive sweeping the floor, i wished he disappeared so i wouldnt shock my self awake. i was in a bed and i concentrated and a girl i've loved for 2 years, appeared next to me. Then something banged on my door and i shot up in my bed, looked for the girl then sighed realizing i was awake.

Let me guess, now that you've had a taste, you want even more. I still remember my first lucid, quite the experience.

Wow, congratulations! And welcome to DreamViews!

I noticed something similar, the more I read about this stuff the more I found myself having lucid dreams or very vivid ones, and my recall improved also!

Amazing what the mind can do. I hope you get to fly!

Post those dreams! It will keep your mind on your goal, and soon you'll have many fun experiences!

What/where have you read about LD and do you use a particular method to LD? I never found a method to use (or one that worked consistently) and plan on checking out the posts here to find some more methods; however, my LDs were DILD's anyways. I'm new here too and just reading the introduction section to see what others have experienced. Hi - by the way.

I read about it all over the internet, about a year ago so i dont remember. I didn't use any technique, i just kind of realized it was a dream when i saw a dead relative.
